Akibakei

I was in Akihabara last week and, as promised, I was on the lookout for the elusive 秋葉系 (akibakei). I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think I might have found one. What do you think?

I'm sure he is 80% アキバ系!(I recommend アキバ系 but not 秋葉系)
Generally, アキバ系 is ちび(not tall)
デブ(fat) ハゲ(baldness). He is fat, but not baldness. Isn't he tall??
By the way, how did you take this picture?? Did you ask him?

Oh, thank you for your posting. I'll check your friend's blog later and I may leave some comments.

Yes, Kumiko. I asked him for permission to take is photo. I said to him, "Sumimasen, I think you're an アキバ系. Are you?"

He said, "えー! ... Go ahead, but let me pretend I'm not looking at you." He wanted to put his two fingers up like most Japanese do when they're getting their photos taken, but I said, "No, no, then people will know you're looking. Your original idea was better.

"I said, OK, good idea! So, one, two, three, はい、チーズ!"

So, there you go!

I'm glad that you enjoy small journey in Akihabara! By the way, there are so many shops in Akihabara. Did you buy something in there?
